Anastasia Guise works as a restoration ecologist and science communicator. She has written as a columnist for the Nimbin Good Times and independently published her first collection of environmental essays Rapture in 2016.
She was selected out of a field of hundreds of independently published authors to present her book at the internationally-renowned Byron Bay Writers Festival in 2016. Her second collection Gondwana Burning was released early in 2020 and focuses on the burning of large parts of the World Heritage Gondwana Rainforests. She lives with her two children on a solar village in the Northern Rivers region of NSW and is passionate about forests, fauna and future.
