    Moya Costello is a writer, and lecturer in Writing at Southern Cross University, New South Wales.. She is the author of Kites in Jakarta (Sea Cruise Books, Sydney, 1985), Small Ecstasies (University of Queensland Press, 1994) a novel The Office as a Boat: a Chronicle (Brandl & Schlesinger, Sydney, 2000) and a novella Harriet Chandler, a meditation on intertextuality and the story of Murray Bail’s  minor character in his 1987 novelHolden’s Performance, was published in 2014 by the imprint Short Odds Publications. She co-edited Mud Map: Australian Women’s Experimental Writing in 2013 with Barbara Brooks, Anna Gibbs&RosProsser:
