Nikki Gemmell

Nikki Gemmell is an award winning writer who pens novels, memoirs and columns. Her best known work is the 2003 novel The Bride Stripped Bare, originally written and published anonymously. Her latest book is Wing, a literary thriller that examines what it is to be a woman today. She has been published in 22 countries. 

Her weekly columns for The Weekend Australian newspaper won the 2022 Walkley award for commentary, analysis, opinion and critique. She was born in Wollongong and after many years in London, has returned home to live in Sydney.
