Jock Serong

Jock Serong is the author of seven award-winning novels spanning Australian history, crime and thriller genres – novels that probe at deep ideas about who we are as Australians. 

His most recent work is Cherrywood, a braiding of two stories about love and reinvention, set in Scotland and Melbourne.

Jock is also a screenwriter, the founding editor of Great Ocean Quarterly, and a features writer in media including Surfing World, The Guardian and The Monthly. He holds a PhD in Creative Writing and is a board member of Melbourne’s Wheeler Centre for Books, Writing and Ideas.
