Courtney Collins

Courtney Collins is an author, screenwriter, and producer. 

BIRD (Hachette 2024) is her second novel. Her first novel, The Burial (Allen & Unwin 2012), was published in ten countries and is being developed as a feature film. 

Courtney is the screenwriter of the feature film, Life Can Be a Dream directed by Jasmin Tarasin for release late 2025. Courtney holds a Masters and PhD in Creative Writing. She presents the podcast ‘Are You Still Working?!’ 

Courtney lives with her partner on Gumbaynggirr Country near Bellingen.
