Robert Drewe is a renowned journalist, non-fiction and fiction author. As a literary editor and writer on The Australian and the Bulletin he won two Walkley Awards for journalism. He turned to writing fiction beginning with ‘The Savage Crows’ in 1976. He is best known for ‘The Bodysurfers’ and ‘Our Sunshine’ which have been republished internationally as Penguin Modern Classics.
